What to Wear to a Ladies Brunch: Founding Farmers

Wednesday, July 29, 2015

OMG, why has it taken me so long to get to Founding Farmers? If you are looking for a great brunch place then you will have to check out this fresh and yummy place!  They have one in DC and now they have just opened one in Tyson's Corner, VA!  The restaurant pretty much came to me, so I they couldn't keep me away once it opened.  Look at all these delicious, farm fresh choices!  If you are going to a brunch remember to wear pants with stretch and a shirt that will cover your tummy.  You don't want fashion to keep you from going back for seconds and a fantastic place like this.  Have you been to Founding Farmers? If so tell me what you loved the most!

Who, What, Wear: Trending- Black and White

Thursday, July 9, 2015

The hottest color combination of the last few seasons has been black and white.  This color combination has been on more runways then the Kardashians.  Look how Phylece's bold print really pops in this color combo.  If you have a occasion where you really want to stand out, make sure you pull out the black and white and dare people not to take notice.

Who, What, Wear: Get the Most Out of Your Maxi

Monday, July 6, 2015

On this addition of Who, What, Wear, we will highlight summers most versatile piece: The Maxi Dress! You can get the most out of your Maxi this year by following Ashley's lead and remembering these three tips:
  1. Add a Statement Necklace- This long necklace will take your casual look to the next level adding interest and texture.
  2. Add a Strappy Sandal- Strappy sandels are all this rage this summer so weather you add a simple slide-on or a complex gladiator, these sandals will not only add some spunk to your outfit they are also super functional. Wear a close-toe sandal if you are going for a more formal look.
  3. Add a Jean Jacket- The Maxis versatility is perfect for all the different types of summer activities that you can think of but for the times when you want a bit more coverage grab a jean jacket.  This piece will add the structure and warmth you need to fight off the chillest of air-conditioned locations.
