You know when Mondays morning meeting role around we mean business, so I dressed for the occasion. Good thing I did, because today I was invited to a meeting with a union and I needed to be confident enough to stand my ground. This navy suit and studded Zara pump had me ready to kick some butt. Lucky for them (and me) the meeting went very well and we all left on amplicable terms. But the fact is I was ready either way, so is there a day of the week in your office where you leadership generally holds meetings. If so how do you prepare so that you can be pulled in at anytime? Here are a few tips that think of when we are coming up on a Monday Meeting:
- Look like You Mean Business- Does this outfit make you feel like you mean business?- You never get a second chance to make a first impression, so when you walk into a boardroom you want to look like you know what you are talking about without even having to open your mouth. This Le Suit suit is exactly how you make a positive impact.
- Fit and Length- The last thing you want is to worry about the length of your skirt or being uncomfortable in a suit that is too tight. So select something that is comfortable but structured like this below the knee skirt suit from Macy's.
- Stand Out- A bold color suit like this one or a statement piece piece like my shoes or jewelry should make you stand out in a positive way and not detract from what is being said. You want your jewelry not just to make a statement but to make a positive statement about you.

Great outfit but Love those shoes!!
Yes, the shoes are awesome! :)
I love your outfit and your comments about looking like you mean business :) I am a teacher and on the first day of school I like to wear an outfit that's almost identical to yours- black shirt and pants and then a blazer. I jokingly call it my "power outfit" lol because I think it's good to make that first impression- just like you said! Now I just need to find awesome shoes like yours...
